Tricks And Tweaks

Now twitter plans to censor tweets

Popular Social Networking and Micro Blogging Platform Twitter has planned to censor tweets. It has Planned to introduce the measures to reduce the visibility of hate speech according to a report.

According to Twitter CEO one solution would be to hide tweets from dubious accounts.

"One solution would be to hide from users' reply page tweets from individuals that are not seen as authoritative," Costolo explained.
These would include Twitter users with No followers, No biographical information and No profile picture who just posted abuse on other people's timelines, The Herald Sun reports.

According to a FT.com report, CEO also admitted this move could diminish the democratic nature of the site.
He also said that the new move was not necessarily in line with the company mantra that 'tweets must flow'.

Google Affiliate Program Now Even For Indians and Other Countries As well

Labels: Internet

As everyone knows, Google has also now launched the Affiliate Program of the products being advertised there, but the thing each and every blogger don't know how to sign up with this program, well then you are at the right spot to know how to find a legit way to sign up for the Google Affiliate Program living in India and other countries as well.

For first, did you guys ever mention that this site has some of the Google affiliate ads. Well if not check the ads at the right bar with some ads of Google Affiliate Program.

6 Gourmet Products Text 2
Honey Badger Gi by Tatami Fightwear
maxi dresses Shop Akademiks today!
REARDEN METAL Blu-ray

These are just examples.
The URL of this links can only show what they are.

http://gan.doubleclick.net/gan_click?lid=41000613802330722&pubid=21000000000544059

This is the URL of the "6 Gourmet Products Text 2", in the above URL

gan - stands for Google Affiliate Network
doubleclick.net - the ads are hosted in, even adsense ads are from this domain (check any adsense ad link).
lid=41000613802330722 Advertiser ID (with the link to the ads)
pubid=21000000000544059 - is the publisher ID like my publisher ID

For the countries whereever Adsense is working even this program works there (don't know about this for real), you can get the Affiliate Program Account for yourself if you just have an approved adsense account and by logging in with it at a certain URL which I have provided below. And make sure you keep in mind that this URL does not lead to any phishing page/site or anything that may lead in losing your Adsense account. And thats the reason I just waited for a month to write this post after I got my account approved with adsense and also with the affiliate program of Google, to inform you that this does not cause any damage to your Adsense account.

I just wanted to ask you guys this, I just don't know whether this program actually works in all the countries where the Adsense is working, so if this works even at your country please try using a five minutes of yours to post a comment here so that even the readers can know that this service also works at their country.

So after reading the whole above thing a question arises at your mind the URL. Don't you worry I will give the step by step details about it right now.

Well for getting approved by Google Affiliate Network just follow the below steps

First go to the Google Affiliate Program Signup page from this link (note-other links than this doesn't help you get the account)

Choose 'Yes, I have an AdSense account'

Now login with your Adsense Login details or your google account.

After this this may ask you some info about where you will show ads of those affiliate advertisers (it may ask for additional URL than the primary one since they retrive info from your adsense account.

Once you are done with this, they do not need any time (like adsense does) to approve your account, you will get an email from them to your account.

After this, you can login directly using www.google.com/affiliatenetwork.

This works in India as well, check the about page of this blog to know where I live.
After this you may face some problem on integrating the code at your blog/site to show the ads, but with this blog you can get a post (which will be my next one) on how to integrate the ads of those Google Affiliate Network and then get impression.

Here are the screen shots of My Account (as a proof)

DASHBOARD (click to enlarge)

REPROTS (click to enlarge)

One more proof which I want to show you guys, once you get approved by the Affiliate Network of Google you will find the 'Affiliate Program' under 'Active Products' in the 'Account settings' of your 'Google Adsense Account'.

You will get this:

So this is it for integrating the code at your blog please be subscribed. Hope you liked it.
